He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Vap and Pauline Vap; his brother Mark Vap; and his brother-in-law Michael Pankratz. He is survived by: his wife Kelley Vap of Enterprise, AL; his grandsons, Benjamin, Samuel and James; and his brothers, Duane Vap (Pamela) and Steven Vap (Michelle). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory (1301 Neal Metcalf Rd, Enterprise, AL 36330). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
