She was predeceased by: her parents, Orie Whitman and Lucille Whitman; her husband Donald E. Vaughn, Sr.; her sisters, Elizabeth Whitman Helms and Maurine Whitman Kirkland; and her great grandchild Mckenzie Anne Kirkland.
She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Vaughn Kirkland of Dothan, AL, Angela Vaughn Moodt (Joe) of Whitney, TX and Donald E. Vaughn, Jr. of Gordon, AL; and her sisters, Doris W. Creel of Dothan and Merle W. Ezell of Huntsville. She is also survived by five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
