He was predeceased by: his parent Eleanor C. Ready; and his stepfather Joe Tom Grantham. He is survived by: his children, Joy Lynn Flowers of Collinsville, MS, Melinda Achman (Eric) of Level Plains, AL, Michael W. Ready, Jr. of Enterprise, AL and Joseph Daniel Ready (Claudia) of Level Plains, AL.; his sister Mary Ruth Davidson (Ruedon) of Level Plains, AL.; his grandchildren, Josselyn Cannon, Devin Ready (Kelsey), Alexis Howell, Michael Wayne Ready III, Mya Ready, Mikayla Ready, Noah Ready and Elijah Ready; and his great grandchildren, Lucas Jones and Delilah Allor.
