With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patricia Dekle Howard (Enterprise, Alabama), who passed away on May 10, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Archibald and Marie Helene Shivers Dekle; her siblings, Frances Lauderback, Neal Dekle, Helene Richards, Tommy Dekle and Carolyn Johnson; and her sibling-in-law Burkett Howard.
She is survived by: her husband James Burkett Howard; her children, Cindi Wehrly of Oak Ridge, TN and Rick Howard (Brenda); her grandchildren, Josh Howard (Hannah) of Enterprise, AL, Leah Farris (Matthew) of Oak Ridge, TN, Andrew Wehrly (Nikki) of Harriman, TN, Caleb Howard (Audrey) of Mobile, AL and Marie Thompson (Lewie) of Enterprise, AL; and her great grandchildren, McKinley Howard, Davis Howard, Teddy Howard, Nora Farris, Hazel Thompson, Natalie Howard and Lincoln Thompson.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Enterprise First Baptist Church Library, Enterprise State Community College, or the Enterprise YMCA, some of the many places blessed by her vision and dedication.
