We are sad to announce that on December 11, 2025, at the age of 88, Sara C Donaldson of Enterprise, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Minnie Lee Clark Calhoun and Charles Fitzhugh Calhoun; her husband John William "Buck" Donaldson; and her siblings, Charles Calhoun, Helen Calhoun Hamm, Fred Calhoun, Floyd Calhoun, Harold Calhoun and Betty Calhoun Crook.
She is survived by: her children, Bruce Donaldson (Ale) of Enterprise, AL, Cindy Lawford (Terry) of Elba, AL and Sherrie Winarski (Daniel) of Inlet Beach, FL.; her grandchildren, Heather Strickland (Anthony) of Auburn, AL, Joshua Donaldson (Kristin) of Jacksonville, AL, Ashley Lankenau (Chris) of Dacula, GA, Adam Winarski of Big Rapids, MI and John Donaldson of Enterprise, AL.; and her great grandchildren, Christopher Lankenau, Kaden Lankenau, Addison Strickland, Elijah Donaldson and Alyssa Donaldson.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Hayes Funeral Home (431 E Davis St, Elba, AL 36323). A graveside service will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery (1150 Claxton Ave, Elba, AL 36323).
