She was predeceased by: her husband George Platt; and her daughter Rachel Platt. She is survived by: her children, Georgeann Durant (Doug) of Spring, TX and Charlie Platt of Dothan, AL; her grandchildren, Brantley Platt, Joshua Platt, Jordan Werner (Ben), Chris Durant and Jeremy Durant; her great grandchild Pierce Werner; her niece Karen Spann Garrett; her nephew Earl Dukes; and her cousin Elizabeth Mooney.
