He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Johns and Annie Jo Johns; and his grandson Joseph Hinton Jacobs (Joe H.). He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Hannah Johns of Enterprise; his daughters, Jodie Jacobs (Don) of Dothan and Kohen Brannon (John) of Samson; his brother Rickey Johns (Keri); his nephew Nick Johns of Opp; and his grandchildren, Alli Neitzke (Nick) of Houston, Reagan Brannon of Samson and Jackson Jacobs of Dothan.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Luke United Methodist Church (201 Heath, Enterprise, AL 36330). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens (1018 Florala Hwy, Opp, AL 36467).
