He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Nickels and Delores Jean Kicks Nickels; and his brother Ben Nickels. He is survived by: his wife Susan Nickels; his children, Michelle Nickels (Jerry Griffith), Christopher Schweigert and Carrie Jo Schweigert (Paul); and his brother Philip Olivero. He is also survived by three grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews.
