He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie Fate and Bessie Howell; his siblings, Olean Grice, Lorene Mock, Carolyn Scarbrough, Julian Clifford Howell and James Edward Howell; and his nephews, Kenneth Howell, Melvin Grice, Bobby Mock, Michael Scarbrough and Matthew Jaehn.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie Howell of Enterprise, AL; his children, Tonya Howell, Margaret McKenzie (Jimmy), Adam Jones (Beverly) and April Jones-Moore (Danny); his granddaughters, Daniela Moore, Megan Wright, Olivia Kaja (Kal) and Cecilina Jones; his great grandchildren, Triston, Matylda, Fallon and Kassidy; and his sister Mae Opal Weigand.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory (1301 Neal Metcalf Rd, Enterprise, AL 36330). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
