She was predeceased by: her parents, Orean Blake McDaniel and Irene Bryant McDaniel; her husband Jack T. Self; and her sons, Barry Lynn Self and James Hansel Self.
She is survived by: her son Johnny Ray Self (Patty); her stepdaughter Donna Jo Bishop (Ronnie); her grandchildren, Tammy Johns (Jeff), Blake Self (Rachel), Dixie and Josh; and her siblings, Sarah Williamson, Shirley Mooney (Paul), James Heflin McDaniel (Ann) and Randy Blake McDaniel (Diane). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren, who will miss their grandmother.
