He was predeceased by: his parents, Ina Mims and Wayne Mims; and his son Shane Alex Lambert. He is survived by: his wife Lynell (Dixon); his children, Hazel Davis (Marty) and Michael Lambert (Jamie); his grandchildren, Lyric Lambert, Tyson Lambert, Tucker Lambert and Tatum Lambert; and his siblings, Janet Bradford (Billy), Sandra Potter (Chris) and Terrell Mims (Tracy).
A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Carolina Cemetery (135 Little Weoka Creek Rd, Equality, AL 36026).
