He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Hoover Self and Jeanette McDaniel Self; and his brothers, Hansel Self and Barry Lynn Self. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Self of Equality, Alabama.; and his sister Donna Jo Bishop (Ronnie).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Equality Methodist Church (281 AL-259, Equality, AL 36026). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Equality Methodist Church Cemetery (281 AL-259, Equality, AL 36026).
