She is survived by: her husband Dennis E. Patterson; her daughters, Denise Perkins (Charles) of Ethelsville and Dedra Rush of Helena, AL; her sister Sheila Richards (Byron) of Fernbank; and her siblings-in-law, Brenda Byars of Gordo and Vernice Tilley of Ethelsville. She is also survived by five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
