With sadness, we share the passing of Kathryn Dubose Ray of Ethelsville, Alabama. Kathryn, born on October 6, 1952, passed away on September 20, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Bob Evans; her siblings, Martha Dubose and Foster Dubose; and her parents, F. E. Dubose, Jr. and Willa Hankins Dubose.
She is survived by: her husband Jackie M. Ray; her daughter Jennifer Williams; her stepdaughters, Pamela R. Brasher and Tonya R. Wilkins (Jason); her siblings, Pat Oglesby (Leon) and Terry Dubose (Debbie); her grandchildren, Jessie Reeves (Caleb) and McKenna Johnson; and her stepgrandchildren, Jennifer Madison (Matthew), Tyler Wilkins (Tori) and Ethan Wilkins (Randi). She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Cross Roads Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Hospice of West Alabama, 3851 Loop Road, Tuscaloosa AL 35404.
