She is survived by: her children, Roosevelt Grubbs, Gregory Don Grubbs (Shenika), Kahlil Grubbs, Willie Vann (Ernestine), James Hamilton (LaTasha) and Ann Calloway (James); her grandchildren, Shermont Griffin, Demond Baker, Jaylin, Zoi Grubbs, Serenity Grubbs, Degraphary, Diquaris, Devondrick, Taurean Richardson and James Hamilton, Jr.; and her siblings, George White (Louise), David White, Mary Palmer, Mildred Bass-Calhoun (Wayne), Smauel Paige (Faye) and Dorothy White. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Chapman Funeral Home Chapel (100 E Fair St, Eufaula, AL 36027). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Eufaula Church of God in Christ (4097 US-431, Eufaula, AL 36027).
