We are sad to announce that on August 23, 2023, at the age of 83, Daniel Galon Lester of Eufaula, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Charlie R. Lester and Leola Orrand Lester; and his siblings, Faye Lester, Charlene Mitchell, Sam Lester, Ray Lester and Manson Lester.

He is survived by : his wife Sue Joyce Wooden Lester; his children, Tina Lester Dyer (Chris), Crystal Lester Robinson, Jason Todd Lester and Robert Chad Lester (Melissa); his grandchildren, Hunter Lester (Emily), Derek Dyer (Madison), Dylan Lester, Peyton Lester and Olivia Lester; his great grandchildren, Delilah, Vivian and Theo Lester; and his siblings, Benny Lester (Betty Gayle), Dorothy Patton and Karen Barry. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.

Contributions may be made in Mr. Lester's memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
