He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Lataine and Grace Loraine Poole (Phillippi); his siblings, Shirley Pence, Donald Dean and Jimmy Dean; and his grandson Jack Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Poole (Safewright); his children, Gary Wesley Poole (Andrea) and Cindy P. Jones (Eric); his stepson Terry Wayne Davis; and his grandchildren, Bryce Poole, Eli Poole, Anna Jones and Dylan Davis.
