He was predeceased by : his father Daniel Carey Hammond; and his siblings, Wayne Anderson Hammond and Erna Diane Hammond. He is survived by : his wife Melba Phillips Hammond; his daughters, Sherry Hammond Sellers (Jack) of Eufaula and Kristy Hammond Saylor (Bryan) of Eufaula; his grandchildren, Kirbee Vickers and Jim Vickers (Katie Walden); and his great grandchild Keylee Nolin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
