He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy McCord and Flossie Emma Fink Swanson; his former spouse Pat B. Swanson; his children, Danny Swanson and Jeanette Susanne Swanson; and his siblings, Mary Jane Baer, Carolyn Snider and John Swanson.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Bannon; his children, Sarah "Sally" Robbins (Larry) of Macon, MS, Bruce Swanson (Sherri) of Kennedy, AL and Steve Swanson (Rhonda) of Cochran, AL; his grandchildren, Lizzie Wright, Summer House (David), Trace Swanson (Chy), Kyle Swanson (Whitnee), Dustie Swanson, Jessica Daugherty (Randy), Suzanne Robbins, Allison Robbins, Caroline Robbins, Lilyana Robbins and Leah Robbins; his great grandchildren, Jesse Wright, Ryder House, Brenlynn House, Jason Jones, Aurora Swanson and Laramee Swanson; his brother Tom Swanson; and his son Xinhua Yin.
