He was predeceased by: his parents, Murray Knight and Ethel Terry Knight; his wife Opal; and his siblings, Virginia Rasberry, Bill Knight, Butch Knight and Ed Knight.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kim Rainwater (David) of Cherryville, NC and Kelli Kimbrell (Brad) of Northport, AL; and his grandson Travis Rainwater.
