It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Lameda Griffin Fleming of Evergreen, Alabama, who passed away on May 2, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Myrtle Crumpton and Quarles Griffin (Aubrey Bruner Griffin); and her husband John Morgané. She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia Fleming Freas and Karen Griffin Fleming; her grandchildren, Fred Dinkler IV, Allison Griffin Dinkler, Alexander (Crystal) and Morgané Freas; her great grandchildren, Tyler Patrick Bailey, James Declan Kelley, Piper Olivia Freas, Adalynn Rose Keene and Clarisse Mbuka Dinkler II; her sister Beverly Sue Griffin Charles; and her son-in-law Russel William Chism.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home (2353 South Blvd, Brewton, AL 36426). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
