She was predeceased by : her parents, Gideon Malcolm Gladwell and Elsie Mae Terry Gladwell; and her siblings, Mary Mullins, Glen Gladwell, James Gladwell, Harry Gladwell and Clarence Gladwell.

She is survived by : her sister Jeanette Soles; her sister-in-law Marlene Gladwell of Hope Hull, AL; and her niece Sylvia Crews (Pete).
