He was predeceased by: his former wife Jettie Hughes Browning; his parents, Marvin Browning and Janie Ezell Browning; his siblings, William Browning, Ellis Browning, Marshall Browning, Milton Browning, Lillie Mae Corbett, Catherine Honeycutt and Willie Nell Roach; and his grandson Clay Owens.
He is survived by: his wife Merle Bishop Browning; his daughters, Teresa Conville (Doyle), Rhonda Owens (Wayne) and Pam Lindsey (Kebbo); and his siblings, Troy Browning and Shirley Stanley. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
