He was predeceased by: his parents, George Desharnais and Philomena Desharnais (Maffucci); and his brother-in-law Richard Rose. He is survived by: his sons, Gregory and Andrew Desharnais; his sister Joan Rose; his nephew Christopher Rose; his nieces, Stephanie Tuttle and Alison Madrigal; and his friend Linwood "Cliff" Grant.
