She is survived by: her caregiver Brittany Knoth; her siblings, Nancy Nix O'Farrell (Michael), Ellen Nix Garner (John), Kelsey B. Nix (Roy Ovesen), Joseph B. Nix III (Linda) and Richard D. C. Nix Sr. (Zebbie); Sandra Trainham Nix and Kitty. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family members, cherished caregivers, and dear friends.
