He is survived by : his wife Joyce A. Hamilton; his children, Carl, Joy, Gay and Jan; his grandchildren, Josh Roberson, Cory Roberson, Ryan Roberson, Kate Smith, Kristin Strickland, Kevin Dunn, Andrew Dunn and Skylar Dunn; his great grandchildren, Alyssa, Faith, Emma, Grant, Brooks, Jacob, Remi, Sydney, Liam, Trevor, Tristan, Hunter, Haley, Hazleigh and Kannien; and his great great grandchild Amir.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Gideons and The Heart Association.

“I am sorry to hear of Uncle Sid's passing; I send my love and condolences to all the family. I'm so glad I got to hug his neck just a few years back at our family Christmas party. My sisters and I have fond memories of him taking out his teeth to freak us out; those were great times at the old hotel. God bless you all and bring you peace. You were blessed to have him for so many years.”
