He was predeceased by: his parents, Fletcher Riley and Glynn Tolbert Riley; and his brother Stanley Riley. He is survived by: his wife Rita Riley of Evergreen; his children, Jason Riley (Haley) of Andalusia and Angela Kuhlman (Chris) of North Carolina; his sister Diane Middleton (Don) of Georgiana; and his grandchildren, Lane Henderson, Jhase Riley, Von Drew Riley, Lynnlee Riley, Ethan Kuhlman and Jacob Kuhlman.
