Walter Lee Carrier Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 8, 2025, at the age of 87, Walter Lee Carrier of Evergreen, Alabama passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Walter Lee Carrier to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Edward Carrier Sr. and Nealie Snead Carrier; and his siblings, Clarence Carrier Jr., Edith Carrier Hayes, Willa Carrier Driver and Betty Carrier Booker.
He is survived by: his wife Freda Carrier; his children, Melinda Carrier Nettles (Paul), Trent Carrier, Ed Carrier (Debbie), Leah Carrier Deal (Boyd) and Jeff Carrier (Auburn); and his brother Wayne Carrier (Janaine). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cope-Keahey Funeral Home (705 Perryman St, Evergreen, AL 36401). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in Walter's memory to Second Chance Ministries (PO Box 533, Ariton, AL 36311) and the Jackson Conway Foundation (100 Conway Lane, Evergreen, AL 36401), as he held both of these causes close to his heart.
