He was predeceased by: his parents, Claudia Alice Hyde Stinson and Ulay Stinson; and his siblings, Fred Stinson and Barbara Stinson. He is survived by: his wife June Odom Stinson of Brownville; his children, Nicholas Stinson (Nicky) of Montgomery, Baxter Wayne Stinson of Selma, Mary (Marnie), Stinson Hutchinson (John) of Birmingham and Stacey Elizabeth Stinson of Indiana; his sister Elaine Stinson Booker of Fairhope; his grandchildren, Walker Stinson (Haynes), Brooks Stevens, John Hutchison (Elizabeth), Catherine Duckworth (Avery), Mary Russell Sandel (J. C.), Ann Elizabeth Wells (Dusty Burge), Mary Hope Skinner (Brandon) and Margaret Tucker (Andrew); his stepgrandchildren, Broc and Hadley Etheridge; his great grandchildren, Collins, Blair, Hughston, Hamilton, Henry, Copeland and Stinson J.; and his granddaughters, May Wayne and Laura Griggers Wilson.
