He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Wilson Mitchell Jr. and Elizabeth Ann Perdue Mitchell; his wife Melody Ann Mitchell; his siblings, Karen Mitchell and Darrell Mitchell; his son Johnathan Mitchell; and his grandson Nicholas Blake Mitchell.
He is survived by: his son Nick Mitchell (Melissa) of Prattville, AL; his siblings, James Mitchell (Joy), Kenneth Mitchell (Jane), John Henry Mitchell, Frank Mitchell, Tommy Mitchell (Carla) and Shirley Mitchell; his grandchild Haliee Mitchell; and his uncle Larry Perdue.
