She was predeceased by: her husband Bill Scruggs; and her parents, Hugh Hinson and Sarah Hinson. She is survived by: her children, Monty Scruggs (Kay) of Greenville, AL and Mona Dominguez (Ariel) of Auburn, AL; her granddaughters, Claire Medley (Dusty), Kathryn Stallworth (Carey), Sarah Juliana Dominguez and Amelia Dominguez; her great grandchildren, Mason, Jackson Medley, Steven and Margot Stallworth; and her brother Hugh Hinson Jr. (Martha).
The family requests that memorial donations be made to Excel Methodist Church Memorial Fund (515 Majors Rd. Monroeville, AL 36460), Pilots for Christ (http://www.pilotsforchrist.net), or the Monroe County Animal Shelter.
