He is survived by: his wife Arthurene Matchett Blalock of Excel; his children, Robert L. Blalock Jr. of Jacksonville, Fla. and Susan Andress of Mexia, Ala.; his grandchildren, Megan Wilson (Kyle), Joshua Nettles (Shaina), Jeremy Blalock, Jennifer Blalock, Taryn Montgomery and Kimberly Day (Tim); and his great grandchildren, Watson Wilson and Jonathan Day. He is also survived by family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Monroe Chapel Funeral Home (2252 US-84, Frisco City, AL 36445). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
