He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Wilson (Shorty) and Ruth Wilson; his grandchild Aynna; and his great grandchild Micah Hope. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Wilson; his children, Shawnte Mitchell (Calvin), Heather Lee (Thomas), Damon Snyder (Vickie), Jimmy Terry (Alicia) and Scott Terry; his grandchildren, Caelan, Myridian, Daniel, Tylor, Calob, Morgan, Elijah, Ocia and Harlee Easton Carter; his great grandchildren, Kloie, Amellia, Zeke, Tylan, Adriann and Urijah; and his siblings, Ruthy Purdy, Calvin Wilson (Rita) and Bobby Wilson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Valley Funeral Home - Stevenson (1214 Kentucky Ave, Stevenson, AL 35772). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
