It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verdie Mae Wilkinson of Fackler, Alabama, who passed away on December 15, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Russell Wilkinson Sr.; her parents, Marshall Miller and Dianne Morris Miller of Cowan, TN; her children, Carol Wilkinson, Rosemary Jackson and Johnny Wilkinson; and her grandchildren, James Edward Wilkinson Jr., Abigail Henshaw, Stacey Jackson and Chris Wilkinson.

She is survived by: her sons, Russell Wilkinson Jr. (Martha), Stanley Wilkinson (Betty), Jessie Wilkinson (Shelia), James "Buddy" Wilkinson (Teresa) and Leon Wilkinson (Amanda).
