She was predeceased by: her mother Ann Arras; her husbands, James Van Blake and Lawrence "Gus" Portz; her daughter Gwynn Butler; and her grandson Steven McGinn.
She is survived by: her brother George Arras (Terry); her children, June Chappell (Scottie), Jim Van Blake (Lorena) and Jerie "Deedo" Smith; and her grandchildren, Christopher Smith (Loren), Mandi Chadwell (Jonathan), Kevin Smith, Tiffany Sweat and Jacob Van Blake (Rebecca). She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
