She was predeceased by: her husband Joel R Brown Jr.; her parents, Lyman Sumrall and Elsie Sumrall; her parents-in-law, Joel and Annie Brown; her son Robert H Thompson, Jr.; her son-in-law Sam "Bo" Botts III; her siblings, Nell Anderson, Frazier Sumrall and Byron Sumrall; and her siblings-in-law, Shirley Sumrall, Patty Sumrall, Gayle Sumrall, Della Sumrall, Carolyn Moorer, Shelton Brown, Sam Brown and Jeff Moorer.
She is survived by: her daughter Terri Thompson Botts of Daphne, AL; her stepdaughters, Pamela Jenkins (Richard) of Lillian, AL, Patricia Frost of Franklin, TN and Jo Ellen Robinson (Bryon) of Augusta, GA; her granddaughters, Emily Sandoval of Ranger, GA and Stephanie Cagle (Cody) of Pensacola, FL; her great grandchild Kaitlyn Nicholson of Pensacola, FL; her sisters-in-law, Nelda Brown of Mobile, AL and Sharon Brown of Charlotte, NC; and her brother John Sumrall of Huntsville, AL.. She is also survived by 6 step grandchildren; 12 step Great grandchildren; 1 step Great Great granddaughter.
