It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Gene Barnhill of Fairhope, Alabama, born in Loxley, Alabama, who passed away on July 6, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ben; and her brother William Hunter Phillips. She is survived by: her daughter Lou Ann Barnhill Harrell (Billy); her grandson William Gaines Harrell of Texarkana, Texas; her siblings-in-law, Wendell Barnhill (Charlotte) of Fairhope and Kellye Phillips of Daphne; and her caregivers, Katie Coleman, Whitney Cuttrell and Marilyn Williams. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to First Baptist Church, Fairhope, Ecumenical Ministries in Fairhope, or the charity of your choice.
