She was predeceased by: her parents, Virginia Arline Rush and Gustavus Adolphus Rush, Jr.; her significant other Pete Douglas; her son Michael Douglas; and her siblings, Dr. Sonny Rush and Jeannine Rush Savell.
She is survived by: her daughter Stacy Brinyark (Eddie); her sister Harriette Carney; her sister-in-law Karen Rush; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Brinyark, Jessica Brinyark, Sean Douglas and Brad Douglas (Jess); her great grandchildren, Emily Campbell, Emerson and Dax Douglas; her nephews, Heath Rush, Lane Rush, Alston Rush, Logan Rush and Dr. A. P. Carney; her daughter-in-law Jennifer Douglas; and her nieces, Callie Waite, Diane Michot and Dr. Virginia Carney Nelson.
