He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Smith and Florence Smith; and his siblings, Ted, Emmie, Mitchell and Tom.
He is survived by: his daughters, Gina and Charelle (Jimmy); his grandchildren, Christian (Allie), Michael, Joseph (Ashleigh) and Leon; his great grandchildren, David, Zoey, Audrianna and Penelope; his siblings, Marshall (Linda), David (Judy) and Eileen; his son Benji; and his granddaughter Gabriela.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery (34904 AL-225, Spanish Fort, AL 36527).
