He was predeceased by: his parents, George Grady Tucker, Sr. and Margaret Waits Jackson; his stepfather Hansford G Jackson (Annette Marrell Tucker); his siblings, William Graham Tucker, Gordon Jackson and Dorothy Strag; and his son Gary William Tucker.

He is survived by: his children, George Grady Tucker III (Leeon Ann Tucker), Suzanne Tucker Napier (Robert Alex Napier) and Gordon David Tucker (Susan Farmer Tucker); his grandchildren, George Grady Tucker IV (Marsha Tucker), Robert Tucker Napier and Jessica Marrell Law (Matthew Joseph Law); his great grandchildren, Rebecca Jade Israel (Christopher Israel) and Mattelyn Elise Law; and his great great grandchildren, Grayson Alexander Israel and Jade Jordyn Israel.

Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Evans Funeral Home (1972 Sixth St, Florala, AL 36442). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of Flowers, Grady wanted donations for: Tunnels to Towers (T2Td.ORG) and St. Jude's Children's Hospital (stjude.org).
