He is survived by: his wife Joy Hedgepath Smith; his children, Michael Smith (Aubrey) of Alvin, TX, Matthew Smith of Austin, TX, Caroline Keener (Stone) of Fairhope, AL and Daniel Smith of Fairhope, AL; his grandchildren, Helen, Beatrice Smith (Michael) and John Keener (Caroline); and his siblings, Lloyd Smith of Fairhope, Mitchell Smith (Cheryl) of Louisiana, Marshall Smith (Linda) of Fairhope, Thomas Smith (Marti) of Daphne, Eileen Smith of Mobile and David Smith (Judy) of Mobile.
