He is survived by: his wife Ruth Holland Pierce; his children, Ken Pierce (Lee), Brenda Lagle (Mike), Shirley Robertson (David), Cynthia Loyd (Charles), Greg Pierce (Debra), Mark Pierce (Ricky Wolfe Pierce) and Scott Wolfe Pierce (Karen); and his half-sister Shirley Newberry Owens. He is also survived by grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and an extraordinary 36 great-great-grandchildren.
