It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Pascal Nelson (Fairhope, Alabama), who passed away on March 1, 2026, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Laverne Nelson and Ethell Nelson; his sister Becky; and his siblings-in-law, Buck Bishop, Benny Long and Vicki Nelson.
He is survived by: his sons, Mark Nelson (Tracy) and Matt Nelson (Millie); his grandchildren, Kelly Russell (Blaine), Reaves Nelson (Madison), Will Nelson and Edward Nelson; his great grandchild John Reaves Nelson; and his siblings, Elizabeth Bishop, June Long and John Nelson (Sandy).
Visitation was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Fairhope (300 S Section St, Fairhope, AL 36532). A celebration of life was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the First Baptist Fairhope.
