He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Kilgore and Gertrude Kilgore; his wife Frances Hermecz Kilgore; his siblings, William, Gertrude and Kenneth Kilgore; his stepson David Hermecz; and his granddaughter Bridget Hermecz.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Jim Hermecz, Denis Hermecz (Patty), Vernon Hermecz (Barbara), Julia George and Irene Lowry (Michael); his grandchildren, Joy Gervers (Greg), Damian Hermecz (Cathy), Eric Hermecz (Cindy), Holly Kessler (Fred), Leda Hermecz, Nathan Hermecz, Bryant George (Madoka), Ryan Hermecz (Stephanie), Michael Hermecz (Brittany), Lindsay Hermecz, Ashley Bowles, Katie George (Cliff), Christopher Hermecz (Lily), Rachel Linz (Jim), Mark Hermecz (LaTeisha), Hilary Cunningham (William) and Kyle Lowry (Brandie); his nephew Michael Kilgore; and his nieces, Terry Ellis (Bill) and Paula Robinson. He is also survived by friends and all his wonderful neighbors.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calendar St. Lawrence Catholic Church (370 S Section St, Fairhope, AL 36532). A Mass was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 3:45 PM to 4:15 PM.
