He is survived by: his parents, Dr. John Heustis King, Sr. and Judy Parker King; his siblings, Solita C. King (Josh), Aloyis King Dodd (Cory) and Charlie A. King; his nephews, David "Paul" Dodd II and John Heustis Dodd; Pete Blohme. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
As an organ donor, he became a hero, saving several lives through the gift of organ donation.
