The memory of John Miller Powell Jr. (Fairhope, Alabama), who passed away on July 14, 2025 at the age of 89, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Miller Powell, Sr. and Mary Mitchell Powell; and his son John Miller Powell, III. He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his son Ty Powell (Michelle); his sister Missy Vaughan (John); his sister-in-law Judy Powell; and his daughters, Cindy Burnside (Sheldon), Lindy Blanchard (John) and Yvonne Schneckenberger (late Don). He is also survived by 32 grandchildren and great grandchildren, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Eastern Shore Presbyterian Church (320 Presbyterian Dr, Fairhope, AL 36532). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
