He is survived by: his wife Patricia Nist; his children, Erik Nist (Anna Lisa Nist) and Kristien Ring (Gunnar Ring); his grandchildren, Delphine, Zoe Ring, Carter and Dillan Nist; and his siblings, Daniel Nist and Francis Nist.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christ the King Catholic Church (1505 Main St, Daphne, AL 36526).
