She was predeceased by : her father John D. Mahaney Sr.. She is survived by : her husband Greg Smith; her mother Ellen Mahaney; her children, Amy Auldredge (Dustan), C. J. Errichetti (Alli), Dan Errichetti and Jason Smith (Christine); her grandchildren, Graham, June Smith, Nora and Danielle Auldredge; her siblings, Daniel Mahaney, Mary Beth Caldwell (Malcolm) and John Mahaney Jr.; and her aunt Mary Jane Roosa. She is also survived by nephews, nieces and cousins.
