He was predeceased by: his parents, Silas Hopf and Cecelia Hopf of Jasper, Indiana.. He is survived by: his wife Ann Ingersoll Koop Hopf; his children, Margaret Ann, Mike (Melinda), Becky, Joe (Joanna) and John Hopf (Amy); his grandchildren, Tom Hopf (Caytlin), Michelle Hopf, Lee Hopf (Kaitlin) and Bill Hopf; his children, Collin Hopf, Evan Hopf (Rachel), Landon Hopf, Zane, Kaya Hopf, Sandy Duckworth (Justin) and Tim Tucker; his great grandchildren, Marvin and Warren Hopf; his grandchildren, Foster Hopf, Hazel Hopf, Lilly Duckworth, Jackson Tucker, Emily and Lucy Tucker; and his pet Simone.
A rosary will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 8:45 AM to 9:45 AM at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church (370 S Section St, Fairhope, AL 36532). Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St Lawrence Room of the Family Life Center (370 S Section St, Fairhope, AL 36532). A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church (370 S Section St, Fairhope, AL 36532).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fairhope Volunteer Fire Department.
