He was predeceased by: his parents, Lanier Mose Myrick and Mae Kappel Myrick; and his siblings, John Myrick and Tish Cloninger. He is survived by: his wife Karen Callahan Myrick; his sons, Joshua Myrick (Alice Key), Matthew Myrick (Danielle Mashburn) and Geoffrey Myrick (Christa Kierce); and his grandchildren, Olivia, Elias Myrick, Ida Mae, Telfair, Virginia Myrick, Hatcher, Harrison and Henley Myrick.
A memorial gathering was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 12:00 PM and at 2:30 PM at the Mayhem (308 N Bayview St, Fairhope, AL 36532).
In his later years, even as his Alzheimer's disease progressed, Paul continued to find joy in sitting on the porch with his family.
